ABOUT US

The site has been developed for and published by The Southside Small Cinema. TSSC is an unincorporated voluntary association and is registered as a charity (No.SC054152) with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator.

The Southside Small Cinema is supported by Film Hub Scotland, part of the BFI’s Film Audience Network, awarding funds from Screen Scotland and National Lottery funding from the BFI.

COPYRIGHT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All of the trademarks and logos displayed on this site (the ‘Trade Marks’) are registered and unregistered trademarks of The Small Southside Cinema, or are trademarks and logos which The Small Southside Cinema has been authorised to use and/or display on its website. 

The unauthorised use of any of the trademarks and logos appearing on this website is not permitted. On an exception basis, we may expressly authorise to reproduce and/or represent all or part of our site, on certain media. General Terms & Conditions

TICKET REFUNDS

Please note that TSSC tickets are non-refundable. Refunds will only be made in the event of a performance being cancelled.

TICKET EXCHANGES

TSSC tickets are non-exchangeable.

BOOKING OPTIONS

Tickets can be booked in advance online or at the event. There is no additional charge for online booking.

PROGRAMME CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS 

Programme listings may be subject to change. Please view our listings on our website for the most up-to-date information. In the event of screening cancellation, the customer will be promptly notified by email.

PERFORMANCE ENTRY

Entry for any given performance will be permitted up to 5 minutes after the advertised start time. Please note that TSSC performances are not preceded by adverts and trailers, starting promptly at the stated time. Ticketholders will not be admitted after the advertised time.

AUDIENCE ETIQUETTE

During film screenings, we request viewers refrain from talking or making noises that could distract others and also from using any form of light source. The use of e-cigarettes is not permitted. 

SEATING

All seats are unreserved, unless otherwise stated.

FOOD RESTRICTIONS

Hot food is not permitted to be consumed during the events unless otherwise stated.

ALCOHOL POLICY

For licensing and health & safety purposes, we do not permit alcohol purchased outwith the venue to be consumed on the premises unless otherwise stated by the venue. 

STORAGE

Please note that TSSC does not offer any storage facilities for personal or luggage items.

Supporters who donate £30 or more through our crowdfunding campaign are eligible to receive a complimentary tote bag as a thank-you gift.
To claim your tote bag, you must complete the Tote Bag Claim Form, ensuring the name used matches the name provided on the crowdfunding platform. This is necessary to verify your donation and process your gift.
 
Tote bags are shipped automatically within the UK via Royal Mail at no additional cost. For international shipping, please contact us directly to arrange delivery and discuss any applicable charges.

MEMBERSHIPS

By purchasing a membership with Small Southside Cinema, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Membership Validity
Each membership remains active until cancelled by the member. There is no fixed end date unless a cancellation is requested. You can cancel your membership here.

Non-Refundable and Non-Exchangeable
Memberships cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded once purchased.

Screening Entitlement
Membership entitles the holder to reserve one ticket per screening per membership tier, as follows:

  • Supporter: 1 ticket per month
  • Pal: 2 tickets per month
  • Enthusiast: 3 tickets per month

PLEASE NOTE – The membership code cannot be applied to any other additional tickets. Unused tickets do not roll over to future months.

Non-Transferable
Memberships are non-transferable and are valid only for the named account holder. Tickets booked using your membership must be used by you or, where applicable, your designated guest(s).

Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your membership at any time. However, cancellations will take effect after the end of your current billing period, and you will continue to receive benefits until that time.

Updates and Changes
The Small Southside Cinema reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions or membership structure at any time. Members will be notified of any significant changes.
